About Artesan Imports

One side of our family manufactures the products in San Jose, Costa Rica and the other side of the family distributes them in Canada, with our business center located in the Montreal South Shore region. We are proud of the quality and care that our products are made with. We have been manufacturing for over 35 years, and our distribution began in Canada in the year 2023. We are influenced by and proudly promote Costa Rica's eco-friendly culture which has always guided us in our wood creation process.

Our strongest value is to use quality materials that are environmentally friendly, that do not destroy the environment, and give our clients the satisfaction of owning a souvenir made from our exotic land that was carefully crafted with this view in mind. Our products come from our hands to yours to enjoy and to remind you of nature in the tropical lands of Costa Rica.

We use reforestation woods from Costa Rica such as Teak, Laurel, Pochote, Melina, and Cedar when authorized. The preparation process begins at the sawmills with a meticulous wood selection and continues with the oven drying and fumigation process. After this stage, the woods are transferred to our workshop to commence the fabrication of our models. All our models are crafted by highly trained personnel and supervised until the completion of each product, which then reaches the hands of our customers.
